Programs and Meetings

General Meeting is held the third Monday of each month. Each month we present a program of environmental interest to the general public. Free and open to the public. We meet at Second Presbyterian Church, 460 East Main St. in Lexington, 7:30 PM.

Business Meeting is held the first Monday of each month. We discuss the operations of the Group during this meeting. Free and open to all members. Location: 836 Melrose Ave. Lexington, KY. 7:00PM

Conservation Committee- Meetings are held the last Wednesday of each month. Location: At the home of Donna DePenning, 830 Sunset Ave. in Chevy Chase. 7:30 PM.

Inner City Outings Steering Committee- Meetings are held the second Monday of each month at the home of Joey Shadoewn, 114 Woodford Dr. Lexington, 7:30PM. The Inner City Outings Program provides outings for local children who have limited opportinities to enjoy the outdoors. For more information, click here.

Outings- Each month local leaders volunteer their time to lead dayikes, bike outings, backpack trips and other outdoor activities to provide fun and social opportunities to our members. If you are interested in leading an outing, please contact Larry Ridenour, Bluegrass Outings Chair, and also check out our monthly listings.
