What environmental issues are especially close to your heart? Wildlife, wildlands, clean air and water, clean energy, environmental justice, safe and healthy communities, bringing the wonder of nature to inner city youth...? The Cumberland Chapter is working hard on these fronts and forging ahead on others as well.

Attend Our Annual Chapter Wine Tasting Fundraiser Events!

Every year our chapter holds a wine tasting fundraiser to raise money to support our environmental work in Kentucky.
This is a wonderful, fun time. We have excellent wine, great food, music, and a raffle. The raffle alone is worth coming to the event. We had more than 40 items this year (2007). Check out the wine tasting pages to see photos, raffle item donors, and more from this year's event. If you missed it this year - please join us in 2008!

Donate with your credit card and save postage! We can accept Visa, Master Card, Discover, and American Express.
Just click on the "Make a Donation" button at the left and you will be taken to a secure PayPal page where you can submit your contribution. A receipt for your donation will be delivered to you right away.

Commemorative Gifts

Commemorative gifts offer a unique way to honor a special event, such as a wedding, anniversary or birthday, in the life of someone you love. An attractive note is sent to the individual being honored informing him or her of the gift and the identity of the donor. The amount of the gift is kept confidential. Contact:

Memorial Gifts

By giving a Memorial gift in memory of a family member or friend, you not only affirm your environmental values, but also recognize that these values were shared by the individual being honored. If you choose, we will send a card in your name to someone else close to the individual being honored, informing them of the gift. The amount of the gift will be kept confidential.
For both Memorial and Commemorative gifts, a note is sent to you acknowledging the gift and confirming that notice of the gift has been sent. Contact:

To make a memorial donation on-line with your credit card:

Step 1. Send an Email to sherry.otto@sierraclub.org with "Memorial Donation" in the subject line, and the following information in the body of the Email:

* Name of person in whose memory the gift is being made
* Name and address of the family member(s) or others to whom notice of the gift should be sent

NOTE: This step is to ensure we have all the information we need to process your gift accurately, as the fields provided by PayPal below are limited in size (60 characters).
Step 2. Fill in the form fields below and click the "pay now" button. This will take you to a secure "PayPal" website where you can complete your credit card donation.

NOTE: These form fields need to be filled out as completely as the space permits to allow us to match the information up with the Email you send us in Step 1.

Matching Gifts

Make your gift to the environment worth twice as much through The Sierra Club Foundation Matching Gifts Program. By asking your employer to match your donation to the Sierra Club Foundation, you can double the value of your gift.
It's Easy...

1. Obtain a matching gift form from your company's Human Resources or Corporate Relations department. Some companies will match gifts made by spouses or retired personnel.
2. Indicate on the form that you'd like your contribution to go to the
Sierra Club Foundation - Cumberland Chapter.

Donate Stock

Donating stocks, bonds or mutual fund shares to The Sierra Club Foundation is easy and can be done right on-line. Just fill out the short transfer form and authorize your broker to transfer your shares.
