The Great Rivers Group is located in western Kentucky at the confluence of the Ohio and Mississippi Rivers, and is comprised of the following counties: Ballard, Caldwell, Calloway, Carlisle, Crittenden, Fulton, Graves, Hickman, Livingston, Lyon, Marshall, McCracken, and Trigg.
Issues of concern to members in this area include the environmental damage associated with "factory farms," and issues related to the Ohio and Mississippi rivers, such as flooding and pollution.
Presently, founding members of this group have moved, leaving a void in group leadership. If you and a group of your friends are interested in revitalizing Sierra Club activity in this area, contact our Chapter Chair for more information.
Check back for updated Great Rivers contact and activity information.
