All Cumberland Chapter outings are rated on a three point scale which indicates the
level of difficulty involved: easy, moderate or strenuous. Do not hesitate to participate
in any activity, but you must be honest with your outing leader about the abilities and
skills of you and your family. The rating categories for hiking trips follow these GENERAL
GUIDELINES.

Fees
For Sierra Club members a charge of one dollar ($1.00) per outing per day per person will be assessed to defray the administrative and advertising cost of the outing program. For non-members, this charge will be two dollars ($2.00) per outing per day per person. These fees may be waived for educational classes and public service outings.
